State of the Studios Address Week of October 29, 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Photos below reveal the vehicle directional signs now in place that will guide guests once the new entrance is opened. The recently completed  green colored vehicle ticket plaza stands ready for a future grand opening. Additional roadway and parking lot paving has been completed near the Park entrance . Construction workers continue progress on the park’s guest loading and unloading station for the skyliner. Sheeting  is being installed  as surrounding site work is underway. Click the link below for full coverage.

Guests with a taste for pizza will need to visit Sunset Ranch Market  as  The Famous Original PizzeRizzo is not serving at this time. This popular dining location suspended operations on October  21. No official word on a reopening date. Hollywood Studios HQ will track all further announcements.

In addition to delighting guests at  Hollywood and Vine Character dining, this popular Disney Junior character Vampirina is now interacting with visitors of all ages  at Animation Courtyard. Vampirina, who replaced Jake from the Neverland Pirates, is ready for photos  from 9:30am to 6:30pm daily. 

Shoppers will want to head to Mickey’s of Hollywood for their new themed merchandise in advance of the much anticipated Disney movie Wreck-It Ralph 2. This film is  to be released in theaters later this fall. Colorful figurine, doll, and plush film characters are ready on shelves. Guest can experience Wreck-It Ralph smashing when they purchase a pair of Ralph smash fists that activate sounds when used. Click the link below for full coverage.

An inadvertently opened gate revealed a spectacular first look at construction work on the Batuu Planet surface level.  Crews continue structural work including surface work on the various dome roofs. Click the link below for full coverage.
