State of the Studios Address Week of December 24, 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Crews remain busy with conduit installation and other structural work on the multiple resort bus arrival and departure buildings. Site work continues in the former tram pick up area. Click the link below for full coverage.

Construction workers continued roofing work this week at the Park’s gondola arrival and departure station. Additional landscape and column work was captured in photos below. The newly completed vast guest walk ways allows for closer views of the station. Click the link below for full coverage.

Guests enjoyed the brand new Disney Junior Dance Party show. Mickey Mouse, Timon and other Disney Junior characters entertained viewers during the 23 minute live dance show. Children of all ages joined the fun as they danced along with the live show.

Shoppers can celebrate the soon to arrive 2019 New Year with a variety of  Disney themed merchandise on Carthay Circle shelves. Adult and child apparel as well as lovable  Mickey Mouse plush await shoppers preparing to ring in 2019. Mugs and cups decorated with Disney characters celebrating the New Year are available, along with a limited selection of toys. Click the link below for full coverage.

Guests can now enjoy their favorite alcoholic beverages at the newly opened Sunshine Day Bar  residing on Sunset Blvd. Converted  from the former Sunshine Day Cafe, this location offers guests refreshments including Parrot Bay Rum, Grey Goose Vodka, and Stoli Razz.  Mixed drinks include a souvenir glow cube.  Bottled and draft beer is also available.
